Gerald Hausman Obituary

Dear Richard & Family:

I had the great good fortune of knowing Gerry well through my 27 years at Peter Pan (the first 24 years of which were spent working as secretary/assistant for Gerry's dear friend, Peter L. Picknelly, Sr.) Your Dad was one of the classiest, funniest and kindest gentlemen I have ever met, in or out of the bus industry. He will be sorely missed by all who were fortunate enough to call him "friend."

We were very sorry to hear of Gerry's death. He was always a kind, thoughtful and generous person to all of us in the bus industry. Our sympathy goes out to all Gerry's family.

I am so sorry to hear the passing of Mr. Hausman. I remember the many Saturday mornings seeing him at Gene & Georgetti's, and I know he will be missed. My thoughts and prayers are with his family.

Richard & Sam, Very sorry for the loss of your Dad. I will miss seeing him on Saturday mornings at Gene & Georgetti.I can still hear him say as I walked in, " Rick, did you bake today". I would have come to the services but I had to be in court, I know your Dad would understand.

Sorry to hear about your father. In the time that I got to know him, I found him to be a Classic Coach Man, in and out of the industry.

We were very saddened to hear about Jerry’s passing. He was a true icon and leader to the bus industry. Even though he had many interests, the bus industry was always number one in his heart.
