George M. Weiss, age 69, devoted husband for 49 years toMary, nee Tedeschi. Loving father of Anthony (Michelle) Weiss and Bridget Weiss. Proud grandfather of Andrea and Aiden. Dear brother of John (Janet), Michael(Mary), Theresa Taloff, Patricia (David) Altepeter, JoAnn (Donald) Gunderson, DiAnn (Daniel) Rodriguez and the late James (Renee Manser) Weiss. Fond uncle of many nieces and nephews. Also survived by his faithful canine companion Jackie Robinson. George was an avid Chicago sports fan of the Sox, Bears and Blackhawks. He enjoyed spending time outdoors hunting and driving his Santa Cruz truck. George's favorite foods included pizza, beef sandwiches, bear claws and grilled food. Above all, George loved his family and the time spent with them. Visitation Sunday, October 13, 2024 from 2-7 p.m. Funeral Monday, October 14,2024 at 9:15 a.m. from Colonial Chapel, 15525 S. 73rd Ave. 155th/Wheeler Dr. Harlem Orland Park, IL to St. Elizabeth Seton Church, 9300 W. 167th St., OrlandHills, IL.
