We will always remember all the good times we had with George, the unique way he had to let you know you were his friend and his infectious smile. We will never forget the day of his passing not only because we will miss him, but because it was Jim's birthday. Always a prankster to the end.

Remembering George not only for his infectious smile, but he was kind, generous, and fun to be around. You liked being in his company. The void left by George will be felt near and far. Because of you George, may we all laugh and smile a little more.
Rest In Peace.

My deepest sympathy to George's entire family. I rode the GM&O
train to work with George and my father. George surprised me and my family when he attended my father's, Len Fumagalli, funeral. I had not seen George in more than 40 years. A perfect example of a kind and thoughtful George.

George was a great friend. We spent many hours riding around in his car, cruising
And going to the dances after the football and basketball games. He’ll surly be long remembered as the Best Indian of all who led us on to the basketball court
Although I am a long way away from Lemont now I had the good fortune of having lunch with him and several long lost friends a couple years ago.
Rest In Peace, Big boy!

Although I didn't know George personally, I've had the pleasure of working with his daughter-in-law, Allison. I work with her at Panduit Corporation. She always spoke very highly of George and would relay stories to her co-workers about how fun-loving he was. I am deeply sorry for your loss.

I went through grammar school and high school with George. George was a true character and if you did not like George, there was probably something wrong with you!. The world is a better place because he was in it and we can not say that about all people.
We miss you, George
