George Spoor Obituary
Born in Redlands, he was a Yuba-Sutter residence since 1952.
He was a draftsman for Caltrans for 38 years and for C-TEC in Yuba City for 10 years.
He was a member of the International Order of Odd Fellows Lodge in Marysville.
Survivors include his wife, Victoria Young-Spoor of Marysville; three daughters, Grace Spoor of Yuba City, Sandy Lawson of Marysville and Sherry McDonald of Loma Rica; three stepsons, Larry Young, Emery Young and Jimmy Young, all of Marysville; a brother, Gordon Spoor of Santa Rosa; two grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Esther Spoor; and two sons, Georgie Spoor and Tracy Young.
A memorial service is scheduled at 11 a.m. Saturday at Crossroads Community Church, 445 B St., Yuba City.
Pastor Jim Clark will officiate.
Arrangements are under the direction of Lipp and Sullivan Chapel in Marysville.
