Dear Kathleen,
So happy that we have connected today. I am working on a series of mixed media sculptures in memory of George. Without his help my husband, Poet Ranzie Claxton, and I would not have our Live/Work Art Studio today. His financial knowledge was given freely, with sincere kindness, and keeps me going every day. He had the ability to make everyone he met feel special and worthwhile. His memory was incredible and so I have built a tall metal wire sculpture to be the center of a large 33 piece installation. An electric candle is in the center, to represent his unfailing love and protection for you, his beloved wife. Sincerely, Catherine Parr

Dear Kathleen, you have my sincere condolences. George is someone that I will never forget. His intelligence, honesty and devotion to his family and friends was forged in iron. He was an example to everyone who knew him of what real kindness and genuine caring means.
