Dearest Rich Family,
George went quickly from being an eye specialist to a friend, along with Marilyn and of course Nikki. I'm shocked to learn of your loss, and want you all to know how much he meant to me over the years. I treasure my many memories, and hope your memories are of comfort to you,
With love,
Karen Kass

We never doubted that we were in good hands as patients of Dr. Rich but reading his obituary only confirmed it. He was a caring and excellent Dr. to our family.

I send my condolences to all of you. George was my eye doctor, as well as for my children, for many, many years. I participated in most of the studies for contact lenses. The block on St. Johns has never been the same. I wish you all comfort in the future and good memories.

Mrs Rich, Alan, Robbie, and Nikki,
When I read of Dr. Rich's passing this morning, I was so saddened. He was such a wonderful man and doctor to our family. He helped Mom so many times with contacts and clinical studies when she was unable to afford them. He was a kind man to our father, when our father had his stroke. Dr. Rich would always help my mom, lifting my dad up the stairs when they had the house in Lincolnwood. I know that both of you, Marilyn and George, were wonderful neighbors and friends to my parents. We loved George and are saddened by his loss. We send you strength during this difficult time as we know the loss of not only a parent, but a best friend.
Love, Mary Beth Platt and family(Jeff, Lindsey and Evan Crum)
