George Papagiannopoulos, age 68, native of Simiades, Greece, longtime resident of Elmhurst; cherished son of the late Peter and the late Maria, nee Javaras, Papagiannopoulos; loving brother of Dr. Steven (Aspasia) and Soteria Papagiannopoulos; dear uncle of Dr. Peter (Sydney) Papagiannopoulos, Dr. Dimitri (Dr. Kelly Fitzgerald) Papagiannopoulos, Dr. Tasso (Angelica) Papagiannopoulos and Dr. Bill Papagiannopoulos; and great-uncle of Alexander, Niko, Leo and Eliana. Visitation Wednesday, October 19, 2022, 9:30 a.m. until time of Funeral Service 10:30 a.m. at Assumption Greek Orthodox Church, 601 South Central Avenue, Chicago IL 60644 Interment Elmwood Cemetery, River Grove.
