I pray that the Marrero family takes comfort in knowing that George touched the hearts of many with his kind and humble approach to those that he managed. It has been years since I worked under him but will always remember his kindness. God Bless and comfort you all--Linda M. Robinson RRT--Respiratory LaRabida Hospital

My deepest sympathy to the dear Marrero family. You are in my thoughts and prayers. George was a wonderful man with a kind and gentle heart. He was the best part of my life. George loved his family, his heritage, his music, the Bears and me. He was so kind to my boys. May the angels take care of him as he is coming home. (I hope they have TV's in heaven!) May George find peace in being with Faye and Georgie again. George will always be in my heart and always on my mind. Sending love and strength to the Marrero family during this difficult time.

I have known George on and off now for about 30 years. Most of that time was related to work but also several occasions outside of work as well. Although I can't say that I was a close personal friend of George; I was fortunate enough to get know him fairly well. I was shocked and deeply saddened by his passing on. I will miss his mellow nature, dry wit and sense of humor.
My deepest heartfelt condolences to the Marrero family.
