I have known George on and off now for about 30 years. Most of that time was related to work but also several occasions outside of work as well. Although I can't say that I was a close personal friend of George; I was fortunate enough to get know him fairly well. I was shocked and deeply saddened by his passing on. I will miss his mellow nature, dry wit and sense of humor.
