Lucas, George M. age 78, Veteran of WWII, U.S. Army. Beloved husband of the late Geraldine (nee Camer), loving father of the late George A. (Janet), proud grandfather of Christopher (Jenny), great-grandfather of Willie, Sara and Katie, fond brother of James (late Marge), Etta Grace (late Joe) Anleitner, late Frank, late Harriet (late Whitey) Bendixon, late Russell (late Alice) and the late Mary Jane (late Harry) Schafer, dear uncle of many nieces and nephews. A retired member of Local 705. Funeral services Friday, 10:30 a.m., at Damar Funeral Home, 7861 S. 88th Ave. (two miles west of 79th & Harlem). Interment Fairmount Willow Hills Memorial Park. Visitation Thursday, 3 to 9 p.m. 708-496-0200.

George Was a Great person and will be missed by all of us .His stories he always shared with us will be treasured forever .He was always there to give a helping hand in all my garage projects.Thanks for being a wonderful neighbor and friend. To his family take care and God Bless.
