Kouba, George L.

95, lifetime resident of the Southside of Chicago, passed away on December 30, 2022. Beloved husband of the late Alice Kouba (Byczek); loving father of David (Nora) Kouba, late Adalbert (Patricia) Kouba, Judy (Dan) Bura, Timothy (Janice) Kouba, and Matthew (Kathleen) Kouba; cherished grandfather of 10 and great-grandfather of 9; also survived by numerous loving nieces, nephews, and many friends.

George was preceded in death by his 9 loving siblings.

He was a proud World War II Army Veteran, member of the American Legion Post #1112, and dedicated parishioner of St. Symphorosa. George enjoyed golfing and bowling with family, and avid model builder.

Services at CENTRAL CHAPEL, 6158 S. Central Ave., Chicago, IL, where family and friends will gather on Sunday, January 8th, 2023, from 2 to 7 p.m. Funeral Monday, January 9th, 2023_Chapel prayers 9:15 a.m. Funeral Mass St. Symphorosa Church, 10 a.m. Burial Resurrection Cemetery, Justice.
