I woke up in Vietnam after being shot and George you were there. You worked at a grocery store and brought those groceries home to feed your family when you were in high school. You were my hero God keep you. Butch

Sadly, I just became aware of George Harvey's passing. We both worked at Peoples Gas. George always had a smile and friendly greeting for everyone. To me he was the big brother I never had. Whenever I needed a friend to confine in, he was always there with a positive attitude and outlook on life. George was a very giving and thoughtful person. He will be truly missed by all. Rest in peace.
