Hamilton, George H. age 86, died peacefully August 31, 2004, at his residence in Homewood. Army Veteran WWII. Beloved husband of Helen (nee Flynn), loving father of the late William (Margaret), Richard (Weisia), Susan (Joseph) Beaudry, Michael (Harriet), James, Thomas (Raquel), Timothy (Kimberly) and Eileen (Michael) Romano, cherished grandfather of Jeanette (David), Jeffrey, Carrie, Anne, Grace, Bradley, Katherine, Susan, Thomas, Joseph, Nicholas, Emily, Daniel, Melanie, Natalie, Olivia, Mary and Colleen, fond uncle of many, son of the late W. Vernon and Beatrice Hamilton, dear brother of the late Helen (Al) Kaminskas, Robert (Carolyn) Hamilton, Beatrice (Robert) Paradis and Kathleen (Floyd) Snow. George built his career as an Editor and Publisher and as a Supplier to the newspaper industry. He was a committed and tireless contributor to the community. Member of Izaak Walton League, Marian Catholic High School Father's Club and Benefactor of many schools and religious societies that focus on education and supporting those who were less fortunate than himself. Funeral service Friday, September 3, 9:30 a.m., at Ryan Funeral Home, 18022 Dixie Hwy., Homewood, to St. Joseph Church. Mass 10 a.m. Visitation Thursday, 2 to 9 p.m. Interment Assumption.
