(Laurie), Cynthia (Angelo) Mavridis, loving grandfather of Christopher, Jeffery and Scott Gianopoulos, Michael and George Mavridis, dear brother of the late Euthokia and the late Limberi Vlahos, fond brother-in-law of Peter, the late Julie Poulos, Joanna (the late Alex) Verven, the late Eunice and the late Robert Eitzenhoefer, dear uncle of many nieces and nephews and friend to many. George was a member of VFW Post #1284. Visitation Tuesday, 3 to 9 p.m., at the Salerno's Galewood Chapels, 1857 N. Harlem. At the family's request, those attending funeral Wednesday, shall go to the Assumption Greek Orthodox Church at Central and Harrison for 10:30 a.m. services. Interment Elmwood Cemetery.
