George Congenie Obituary

Congenie, George John age 60, of Morrilton, AR. formerly of Chicago, Illinois, died Friday, May 28, 2004. He was born February 28, 1944 in Chicago, Illinois, a son of Leonard Congenie and Jean Salemi Congenie. Mr. Congenie was a Chef, an Army Veteran and a member of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Survivors include his estranged wife, Rose Elkins Congenie of Hattieville, AR; sons, Leon Joseph Congenie and wife Tina of Chicago, Illinois, Vincent George Congenie of Chicago, Illinois; daughters, Gina Lee Congenie Watford and husband, William of Illinois; brothers, Leonard Joseph Congenie of Illinois and Eugene George Congenie and wife, Daisy of Morrilton, AR.; sister, Joyce Angelina (Congenie) Congine and husband, James of Morrilton, AR; grandchildren, Ashley Nicole Elizabeth Roca, Leon Joseph Congenie, Jr. and Michael Congenie, numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. Preceded in death by brother, Joseph Leonard Congenie. Rosary Saturday, June 5, 2004, at 10:30 a.m., followed by a Memorial Mass at 11 a.m., at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with Father Charles Thessing officiating. Arrangements by Harris Funeral Home of Morrilton, AR.
