Betz, George "Bud" L. age 84, U.S. Army Veteran of WWII, late of Chicago, passed away Sunday, September 23, 2001, cherished husband of Alice R. (nee Dueshop), devoted father of Barbara (John) Bishop, Don Betz and Robert (Maureen) Betz, loving brother of the late Edward (late Vern) Betz, late Robert (Betty) Betz, dearest grandfather of Lisa, Tom, Kim, Robert, Donald and Lauren. Lying-in-state on Thursday, September 27, 2001, from 10 a.m. until time of services at 11 a.m., at Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church, 9701 S. Brandt Ave., Oak Lawn, with Reverend Norman A. Femrite, Pastor, officiating. Interment private. Visitation Wednesday, from 3 until 9 p.m., at the Edgar Funeral Home, 10900 S. Cicero Ave., Oak Lawn.
