George was a wonderful person. If there was a dance convention George would be there with Gabrielle and let the party begin.

He will be missed by all.

I wore my "I Love Dancin" pin to work today. This is my way of honoring and remembering George. I explained to my friends at work how George would pass these pins out to dancers from all over the country. I also explained how he loved dancing and people...that he fought a courageous battle against cancer. During that battle, he was always cheerful. Dancers are part of a "family". That "family" came together to last night to bid farewell to one of our own. He will be greatly missed. My husband and I extend our deepest sympathies to Georges' family and Gabrielle.

Dear Nadine: I was very sorry and sad to read about your father's passing. It has been a long time since we were at Churchville and York High School but, I will always remember the time that you were kind enough to invite me to your father's home in Lake Geneva, WI. He made me laugh and even though I got very homesick and only spent 1 night I will always remember your fathers sence of humor and his kindness in meeting my parents half way to pick me up.

My best wishes to you, Bill, Annie, and Billy

My sincerest condolences to Gabe and to all of Georges family. This man was a Mench. I so remember his actions at the laying of my mothers gravestone, and his sweating along with me and my brothers to move the stone to its proper location. We have all lost a good friend.

Ron and I will always remember George for his big smile and his dancing feet. I loved to watch him and Gabrielle dance. He always had so much fun...CWCJC has lost a very dear person. Having him serve on our board was a treat even if it was only for a short time. You will be missed.

George and Gabrielle were two of my first friends at the dance club. George loved life and loved to have fun. George was always so kind and generous. We shared many a chat about our grandchildren. George adored his grandchildren. I will miss his presence and laughter. My favorite memory was watching George lead the "gospel music dance." My deepest sympathy to Gabrielle, who is an angel. My prayers are with Gabrielle and George's family.

To me the name George means wonderful because he was wonderful in so very many ways. He always had encouraging words to say and was so very supportive to us all in the dance community. He was kind and thoughtful and he would share everything with everyone. We will all remember him for his fantastic sense of humor -- he always made us laugh. We will be laughing for years to come because of all the treasured memories we hold in our hearts. We will continue to dance for George until the day when we can dance with him again.

When I think of George, the first words that come to mind are GENEROUS and KIND. He was the life of every dance party he ever attended, both far and near, always showing up with all kinds of buttons, flashing light jewelry, stickers, party hats, signs, t-shirts, etc. to share with fellow dancers. And let's not forget the "I Love Dancing" mugs, plates, and clocks that he always donated to dance clubs for raffle prizes. George always displayed kindness towards anyone that came across his path, be it an old friend, a new acquaintance, or a stranger. He always had a smile, a hug, a kind word, or just a good joke to share with you. George will be missed tremendously by his family, friends, and the dance community!
