I'll miss you, Auntie Gene......

Auntie Gene was a very special person who was always laughing and telling jokes. We could always count on a new joke whenever we got together. We need more people like her, so I'm sad for our loss, but happy that Auntie Gene is in a better place.

Seems like yesterday when we were a couple of kids about 12 years old that "Sparky" would be setting my hair and her Mom and my Grandma would be playing cards ("66"). We had some great times together. Always admired the way Sparky could swim (in the pool in Hawthorne). She was a great gal and she's now in a better place where there's no more suffering.

It was so fitting Auntie Gene was called "Sparky".... it was the perfect name for her. I'll miss her jokes, her smile, and the love that came from and surrounded her.
She was and is part of my life so I'll never be without her or her love.
I love you, Auntie Gene.....always.

Gene was a second mother to me. My childhood memories are full of loving times in the Wachowicz home. Gene truly added sunshine to everyones days. Her laugh will always be in my heart.
