Frederick Vanick Obituary

Vanick, Frederick G. Age 72, of Oak Lawn, passed away peacefully on December 23, 2018, with his loving wife at his side. Frederick was born July 3, 1946, to the late Charles and Jean Vanick. He was the devoted husband to Merry Vanick; proud father to Kassie (Cory) Makarrall; cherished brother to the late Matthew Vanick; uncle to Jason Vanick and Angela Vanick. Mr. Vanick was a special education teacher for many years. He was a musician and enjoyed working with his hands. His creativity was multi-faceted, including woodworking, leather crafting, clock making, gardening, and making musical instruments. He enjoyed caring for and spoiling his furry companion, "Charlie." Visitation will be Friday, December 28, 2018, from 10:00 a.m. until the time of his funeral service at 3:00 p.m. at Blake Lamb Funeral Home, (4727 W. 103rd, Oak Lawn, IL 60453).
