Frederick T. Shields, 84, U.S. Air Force Veteran, at rest November 3, 2021. Beloved husband of the late Mary. Dear son of the late Walter and Stella Shields. Loving father of Francine (Joseph) Westergaard, Laura (Jamie) Call, Suzanne (Scot) Allred, Michael Shields, and Tina (Brian) Grandchamp. Cherished grandfather of Mary, Sara, Joseph, Matthew, Jacob, Alexander, Walker, Grace, and Katie. Great grandfather of Amilia, Steven, and Jackson. Fond brother of the late Daniel, James, and Valerian Shields. Many loving nieces and nephews. Frederick was a proud 65 year member of the Plumbers Union Local 130 and an avid bowler. Visitation Monday November 8 from 9 AM until time of funeral service 12 Noon at Chapel Hill Gardens South Funeral Home 11333 S. Central Ave., Oak Lawn. Interment Chapel Hill Gardens South Cemetery.
