Fred Schumacher Obituary
Fred Schumacher, 93, a lifelong resident of Blue Island, passed away peacefully on September 20, 2025. Fred was a member of Sheet Metal Workers Local Union 73. He later taught at Washburne Trade School. Beloved husband of the late Margaret (née Bowers). He is survived by his stepson John LaCasha(the late Kathleen "Kitty"); grandchildren Kathy Lind(Kevin), Donna Deverick(Dan), Trish Clark(Ryan), Ann Marie LaCasha; great-grandchildren Brandon(Joline), Jonathan, Alexis, Anthony, William, Aubrey; great-great-grandson, Cooper. Visitation Thursday, Sept. 25, from 8:30 AM until Chapel Prayers at 10:30 AM at Krueger Funeral Home, 13050 Greenwood Ave, Blue Island. Interment at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Alsip.
