Fred Mizwicki Obituary
Fred Mizwicki, age 78, passed away on Thursday, September 2, 2021. He was a loving husband to his wife Marge nee Minton, for 46 years of marriage. Dearest father of the late Tim Mizwicki, and daughter Jen (Jamie) Nally. Proud Pa-Pa to Gavin, Colin, and Kathryn. Fred was the oldest of 9 children to the late Walter (late Anna). Big brother of Michael (Alana), the late John (Deb), the late Bob, Carl (Joan), Bill (Pam), Ray (JoAnne), the late MaryAnn Mizwicki, and baby sister Marge (Bill) Pagorek; fond uncle, and great-uncle to many nephews and nieces. He was proud to be a veteran, and faithfully served in the U.S. Army. Visitation Tuesday, September 7, 2021 from 5 – 8 p.m. and Wednesday, September 8, 2021, 9 a.m until time of closing prayers at 9:30.m. at Markiewicz Funeral Home, P.C. 108 Illinois St, Lemont, IL 60439. Going in procession to St. Patrick Church, Lemont for Memorial Mass, at 10a.m. In Lieu Of Flowers, the family asks donations in Fred's memory be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital at www.stjude.org Info: Markiewicz Funeral Home, P.C 630-257-6363 or www.markiewiczfh.com.

I will forever remember uncle Fred as my favorite uncle. He always had a way of making me feel special. He expressed so much interest and love in what I was doing in my life whenever we were together. I will never forget my trips to Sandy Pines as a kid. He would take me for drives on the golf cart and teach me how to chop wood for the fire. As I aged I can recall him attending multiple football games I played in around the city. We shared a great love for Notre Dame football. I suppose he was the one that got me interested in the Fighting Irish. I still watch every game to this day, including the overtime win last night. I like to think that W wasn´t for the gipper; it was for Freddie. Uncle Fred was the best. He showed nothing but love for everyone around him. I will never forget him. May he Rest In Peace beside his parents, siblings, Tim, Bobby and Patrick.
