Lubet, Fred age 79, husband of Doris (nee Levitt), father of Steven (Linda), Alex (Iris) and Dana Lubet, grandfather of Sarah Nomi, Natan Isaac, Ari Moshe, Alyssa Emiko, Elliott Tyler, Benjamin Haruo and Benjamin Frederick, brother of Bertha Rose and the late Raymond, brother-in-law of Martin Levitt and the late Allan Levitt. Service Thursday, January 15th, 10 a.m., at Weinstein Family Services Wilmette Chapel, 111 Skokie Blvd., Wilmette, (1 blk. North of Old Orchard). Interment private. Please omit flowers. Contributions may be made to the New Israel Fund, 1101 Fourteenth St. NW, Washington, D.C., 20005. For information: 847-256-5700To plant trees in memory, please visit the Sympathy Store.

Our sincere condolences to your family. We both knew and worked with Fred at Cahners Publishing, at 5 S. Wabash and in Des Plaines before his retirement. He was a man of many talents and many interests. The last time we saw Fred and Doris was outside of the Lyric Opera several years ago. He will be in our prayers.
