Barbara,
Fred and I were in library school together. I always admired his sense of humor, artistic sensibility, and goodness. The world was a better place for Fred being in it. He will be missed.
My sympathies to you and your family. Susan

Fred was an amazing man...and a great cataloguer. I counted on him as a friend for many years, and he will be hugely missed.
