My deepest sympathy to the Hansen family. Fred was truly one of the greatest bowlers in Chicago history. More importantly, He was a great guy. I enjoyed bowling with and against Fred for many years. He always had an endless supply of great bowling stories which I will miss. I regret not being able to pay my last respects, as I just got news of his passing today. Take Care Fred, you will be missed by many.

Fred was a true friend.I will always remember all the great times we had together.Our bowling trips around the country are times I will never forget.God just got a great Anchor Man.

It was great knowing Freddy Hansen and an honor to be his teammate with George McChrystal in the Broadview Bud Light Triples Classic League in the late 80's. In honor of Freddy, I have continued the tradition of "Toxic Waste" as our team name, and I will use that team name forever. His memory will always be with me.

Sorry to hear of your brother's passing. We were next door neighbors for so many years while you grew up. I can remember climbing the cherry tree and my mother making pies which she gave your mom some for letting us have the cherries.
