Frank Reda Obituary

My deepest sympathies to the entire Reda family. I was a classmate of Frank's at St. Mel High School. Hard to believe we met as freshman just seventy years ago this month! May his soul rest in eternal peace!

To Reda Family No bond is as great as that between a Dad and child. My deepest condolences are with you as you grieve.

I knew Frank from the old neighborhood and attended grammar school with him at Chopin until he transferred to Holy Rosary School. He was a good friend.

Today I saw the picture Shelley Howard posted and it captured the essence of Frank Reda. Ever the great host offering hospitality with both warmth and wit. He was ever present at Topo's even when he was not there because his constant watchful eye cast a shadow of concern and care among all the staff that makes Topo Gigio's a true family and neighborhood establishment. His presence will be missed by many and his memory will linger there always. My condolences to his family and my gratitude to you for having shared him with us so generously. May God grant him rest eternal as he so well deserves!

So sorry for your loss. Frank was the best. I had the privilege to know Frank from the time I was a little kid chasing soccer balls on the sideline to countless dinners at his great restaurant. We will miss you but remember you well and often.

Remembering Mr. Reda as my first soccer coach and appreciate passing along my passion for the sport to my children. We've also enjoyed some great meals with family and friends at Topo Gigio's. Our sympathies to the Reda family.

We will miss Frank's smiling face as he often greeted us upon entering Topo Gigio.
