"Kay" Pecha (nee Kazda); fond father of Christine Donley, JoAnn (Stephen) Horvath, Karen (Mitch Bialek) Pecha and Michael Pecha; proud grandfather of Scott and Shawnah Donley, Kyle Horvath, Cortney Trummel and the late Craig Horvath, Samantha, Mackenzie and Nolan Bialek and great-grandfather of Blake, Kiley and Peyton Trummel; loving brother of Joseph Pecha and the late Mary Mazanec, Catherine Sedlacek, Alice Ziemba, Lillian Pecha, Rosie Jurcecka and Barbara Jurcecka. Funeral Saturday, January 9, 10:00 a.m. from Johnson Funeral Home, Ltd., 3847 Prairie Ave., Brookfield to St. Hugh Church (Lyons, IL) for Funeral Mass at 10:30 a.m. Interment Queen of Heaven Cemetery. Each loss is a very personal loss, so we can't begin to know your feelings at this time. Please know that Chris, Joann, Karen, Mike, and your families are in our hearts and thoughts. As a child I remember so looking forward to visiting Uncle Frank and Aunt Kay's house because there was so much fun and things to do. Both of your parents always welcomed us in your home, and I remember your Dad's smile when there was a good joke to be told. I remember all the fun times we had on vacations with Mom and Dad. Specifically when they both came with us when Kyle came home from Iraq. We waited all night for the buses to bring our young Marines home. It was truly an experience I all never forget shared with my Mom and Dad.
