Dear Mrs. Nitti:

My mother shared the news of Mr. Nitti's passing with me and I am saddened by this loss. I know the sudden passing of a loved one is quite a shock and that no words of comfort will help to ease the pain in your heart. The only advice I dare offer is to pray and know that Mr. Nitti is truly home now.

He was a kind, funny man who will be remembered fondly by many North Austin members as well as all the others who were fortunate enough to call him friend.

With deepest sympathy.

Dear Nitti Family-

I am so sorry to hear about Frank's passing; I was out of town when Mom called me with this terrible news. I felt a tremendous amount of loss for all of you -- and that part of my childhood was removed. I immediately began to think of the North Austin days and the Club Girls' parties. The Nitti family has always been a fond part of my history and a positive part of my present. Death under any circumstance is never easy; but I know the joy of Frank will bring comfort throughout our future...

With Love & Sympathy,

Mary Anne Gartner

Mrs. Nitti and Family

My deapest sympathy to your and your entire family for the loss of Mr. Nitti. I will always remember him as a coach who pushed me to become not a better player, but a better person. His involvement in coaching and umpiring games had a postive impact upon a great number of people and that is a testament to the type of person he was for all of us. My words may be few, but my thoughts and prayers are many.

We were friends since we were younger,And tho the time has passed, The memories we have shared as one, is something that will last. High School brought us together, but the friendships kept us fast!!! After all these years we've kept this bond, that will forever last...Things may change as time goes by, But never in our past!!! God has his plan for each of us, from the very start...Frank has been a part of it, and always in our heart!!!!! Written by Bonita and Paulette for all of us.. Micki, Artie, Stella, Esther, Bonnie , Paulette, and Anita.....(As Frank would always say..."with true Cathedral Mentality."

Annette & Family.

I was saddened to hear of Frank's death. It has been some time since I have seen him, but I instantly recollect the wonderful days of Oak Park Boy's Baseball when Tony was playing, Frank's time as an umpire and referee and the kindness he always displayed to me and my family.

And while for all the lovely spring and summer days we will never share with him again, for every Thanksgiving and Christmas that will seem empty without him, there will be other moments too, moments when you see in the eyes and behavior of your children and grandchildren a glimpse of Frank's character and value to his family and friends. And be thankful that he was here.

Best regards, John Caraher
