I first met Frank in a business relationship more than 20 years ago that grew into a close personal relationship over the years. Thoroughly good and honest in every aspect of his life, Frank Meyer personified the kind of businessman who helped lift American manufacturing to greatness. I am proud to have shared his friendship.

Frank was one of a kind. Back in 1985 when I first started working at Meyer Tool, on the way home I was involed in a car accident a short distance from the shop. Mr. Meyer found out about it and beat my wife to the hospital. He said if there is anything you need let me know. He knew me only three months. How many people would do that?. What a guy.

I have worked for Mr. Meyer for over twenty years. He was not only a good man, he was a good friend. I will miss our little chats when he would visit the shop. I feel as if I have lost a member of my family.

I have known Frank for over twenty years in his work through the Cryogenic Society of America and in providing equipment to our Jefferson Lab facility. Frank will be missed for his talents and his interpersonal skills. In all aspects, Frank was living proof of our greatest generation.

Frank was a good guy. About twenty years ago I was working for him. I missed a week of work due to a member of my family being ill and in the hospital. When I returned Frank handed me my check just as he did every week. I will never forget that act of thoughtfulness and generosity.
