Grego, Frank Melvin died suddenly on Wednesday, August 24th, after a brief illness. Born in Greenville, MS to Rosalie and Samuel Grego. Beloved husband of Noel Russell Grego for 53 years, dearest father of Michael, Charles (Karen) and Noel Angela Martin, loving grandfather of Brian Martin, Damon and Marie Grego, brother-in-law of Vera Russell Allen, Pearl Russell Frye (William), Patrick David Russell (Rita), and Hugh Donovan Russell (Caroline), fond uncle to many. Educator and Educational Administrator. He retired from Lew Wallace High School in Gary, IN. Community Leader, President of the Chesterfield Community Council, Facilitator for CAPS, Beat 632. Member of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity. Active member of St. Joachim Parish for more than 40 years. Lying in state Wednesday, August 31st from 3 to 7 p.m. at Griffin Funeral Home, 3232 South Martin Luther King Drive. Funeral will be held Thursday, September 1st, at St. Joachim Catholic Church, 700 E. 91st. Visitation from 10 a.m. until time of service 11 a.m. Interment St. Mary Catholic Cemetery, 87th & Hamlin, Evergreen Park, IL.
