HAPPY BIRTHDAY. WE ALL MISS YOU SO MUCH!

December 28, 2010
Words cannot express how I will miss my dear friend of 32 years. The talks we had. Uncle Jimmy sleeping in the back room. The greeting of s loudly spoken MICHAEL when I walked into the store. He was there anytime I needed him. He was a favorite stop on the way into the city. I called him Uncle Frank to avoid confusion when I called the store but really he was like the Uncle you wished you had. He made you wish you were part of his family. He always gave me good advice on life situations. Such a good friend. Till we meet again Uncle Frank on a nice sunlite beach in heaven. I will forever miss you. May God bless your entire family and all your many friends.

Frank. You were the first person to yell at me outside of the store on Pulaski and 83rd for breaking your windows, you gave me my first real job, advice, filled the store with laughter, put up with me for 11 years. Your were more than a boss. You were and still are my friend. May you rest in peace and best wishes for all the family. Scott M. Vana

Dear DiNovella Family: It was a great shock to see that Frank has passed away. We saw him the Sunday before Thanksgiving placing an order and picking up his bread. He was a truly a remarkable man and will be missed. You are in our prayers and know he is in a wonderful place in heaven. Sincerely his friends at Naples Bakery

My deepest condolences to the DiNovella family, and to Anthony, Frankie and Jack, as I know that going back to work shall never be the same again... 'cause I know that every time I think back about you guy's, I STILL smile...
When I first started working in the office at A & D Tile, and being the only gal in a sea of closely-knit males, Frank J. certainly knew how to diffuse the newbee tensions... a genuinely smart and polite gentleman, he never sweated the small stuff and was always there to lend a helping hand. I truly came to admire this man, a man that made EVERYONE wish they were his 'Best Friend'.
I now know that it's true, "the good always die young"... may you Rest in Peace under God's wings Frank, until we all may meet again.
God Bless.

Such wonderful memories of Frank when we were all young, he introduced me to my husband Paul; they remained friends until his death in 2006. They were the Marquette Park guys, always could be found hanging out in the horseshoe in the park or you would see them cruising the neighborhood in Franks blue Oldsmobile.
My deepest sympathy to Carol, his sons and the rest of his family, I know he will be missed, but my husband is with his buddy again.

I didn't know Frank for a long time-but what I knew of him-he was a tender and considerate man. A man who had looked at his life and saw the mistakes he made and chose to grow. H e will be missed-his friendly attitude and cheerfulness will be remembered.

Words cannot say what this man meant
to me.
Like a brother, conformation sponsor and
cousin was he.
But most of all, he was my friend, and
forever will always be.

My mother June lived next door to Frank and he was always so good to her. On Sundays when he went to the bakery he always brought my mom a loaf of Italian Bread. He was a good neighbor and friend to my mom and I will always remember him for that. Please accept my deepest sympathy. Frank was a wonderful man.
