Cecil and I went to the draft board the day our numbers came up. I remember we both had high numbers. We were both happy. It was late morning and we went to Salerno's pizza to celebrate. Cecile was a good friend.

Dear Mr. & Mrs. Cesario: I am the older sister of Frankie Vaia, childhood friend of Cecil. Our family has known and loved Cecil for many, many years. The thing I remember most about Cecil is his sense of humor and huge smile. My brother visited Cecil the week before he passed away, I remember him telling me about it. Please accept my deepest condolences on Cecil's passing. You are in all of our thoughts and prayers. God Bless you both.
