(nee Jurowicz), loving father of Nancy (Bud) Cates, Carol (Thomas) Penkala Sr., and Thomas, dear grandfather of Natalie Rudolph, Judy Bonarirgo, Bill Cates, Cheryl Fogarty and Thomas Penkala Jr., great grandfather of Michael, Mary, Breanne, Nikki, Alex, Bill, Kyle, and Ashley, dear brother of Virginia Kunstler, the late Ted and Ed. Funeral Monday, September 24, 12 Noon from Ryan-Parke Funeral Home, 120 S. Northwest Hwy. (2 blks. S. of Touhy), Park Ridge, to St. Paul of the Cross Church, Mass 12:30 p.m. Interment Maryhill Cemetery. Visitation Sunday, 3 to 9 p.m. Info., 847-823-1171.

Gramps, I will always cherish the times we talked while watching the Classics play softball. You were certainly their biggest fan. And you taught me a thing or two about the game. Your support was inspiring and your spirit will live on.
