Francis Riley Obituary
Riley, Francis X. age 93, beloved husband of the late Eleanor Jean (nee Tilden), loving father of Francis X., John T. and Elizabeth Ann Riley, dear uncle, great-uncle and great-great-uncle of many. Francis was Professor Emerius of Law at Northern Illinois University College of Law. Funeral Monday, 9:30 a.m., from Smith-Corcoran Funeral Home, 6150 N. Cicero Ave., to St. Mary of the Woods Church for Mass at 10 a.m. Interment private at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Francis X. Riley Courtroom Renovation c/o Northern Illinois University College of Law Swen Parson Hall DeKalb, IL, 60115, would be appreciated. Visitation Sunday, 3 to 9 p.m. 773-736-3833 or www.smithcorcoran.com

I worked with Frank Riley in 1962. The memory of his honesty, humor and work ethic have stayed with me all these years. It was an honor to have known him. He will be much missed.

Frank Riley was one of the funniest, kindest men I have known. He will be truly missed. Fran, John and Liz, you and your dad are in my prayers and thoughts.
