Francis DeGrazia Obituary
Francis (Frenchy) J. DeGrazia, age 78, suddenly. Adored husband of 56 years to Diane (nee Damico). Cherished Father of Gina (Dan) Skiera, and Francesca (John) Larsen. Loving Papa of Dana and Christopher Skiera, and Ava, Frederick, and Elizabeth Larsen. Beloved Son of the late Carrie and James DeGrazia, and Son-in-Law of the late August and Francesca Damico. Dear Brother of Janice (Matt) Tabar, Brother-in-Law of Suzanne Tadin, and Paulette Damico (late Chuck Billows). Fond Uncle of Tina (Marc) Ori, Josh (Crystal) Tabar, Michael (Natalie) Tadin Jr., and Angela Billows. Great Uncle to two nieces and four nephews.
Frenchy was an honored Marine and received a Purple Heart for his service during the Vietnam War. He was a long time member of the Downers Grove Sportsmen's Club in Morris, IL where he loved spending his time trapshooting and hunting. Frenchy will be missed by many. Visitation Monday, May 5, 3:00pm to 8:00pm. Funeral Tuesday, May 6, 9:15am from RICHARD J. We are so sorry to hear of Frenchy's passing. He was blessed with a loving family and many friends. He had a personality bigger than life and will be greatly missed.

Frenchy and I go back to grade school at St. David´s. We had some good times. My sincere sympathies and prayers for all his family. RIP, my friend.

So sorry to hear about "Frenchy". Served with him in L/3/26 Marines in Vietnam. Met him again at the battalion reunion in Ennis, MT in 2014. Good guy and Marine.
