I remember the times she would come over to Rose's house to check on Mary, would sit on the porch and joke especially when she saw my husband Sal. She would always tease him that I had gone out to see Sanchez. We were used to
saying the word Sancho; (she would say Sanchez) when we teased someone about having an affair.
One time in particular I had my velcro rollers on(red) and she actually thought I had actually colored my hair bright red and hollers in Spanish what the heck did you do do your hair??
I enjoyed talking to her as we would sit and talk in Spanish. I am sorry I did not
get to go see her.
Life is too short and we never know when the Good Lord is going to call us
But may the Good Lord have her in His hands.
