Bogeaus, Florence G. (nee Brenner), age 94, Highland Park residence since the late 1940's, retired social worker honored by President Truman for her World War II volunteer work to the Red Cross; beloved wife of the late Arthur Allen, loving mother of Robin Brenner (Dr. Lewis) Seidenberg, adored grandmother of Noah Abram (Kathy) Seidenberg, proud great grandma of Ethan Adam and Carly Rose Seidenberg, devoted daughter of the late Samuel Louis and Rose Weinstein Brenner, cherished sister of Norma B. (the late Allan) Harris and the late Josephine B. Leider, special aunt, great aunt, great-great aunt, cousin and friend of many. Graveside service Sunday, 1 p.m. at Westlawn Cemetery, Sect. Gardenia, 7801 W. Montrose, Chicago. Due to health issues, please refrain from wearing perfumes or scented toiletries at the service and shiva residence. Long-time volunteer to National Council of Jewish Women, Hadasseh, ORT, and Lake Forest Hospital. Contributions to ENH Hospice, 1603 Orrington, 3rd Fl., Evanston, Il, 60201 or The Ark, 6450 N. When I was a youngster growing up in Hyde Park ('40s), Art would visit with my uncle, Israel H. Spector, MD in our house on Greenwood Ave. and discuss with us Hollywood pix ++.
