You will be missed forever and always. The beautiful moments you shared with us will always speak of the great person that you were. My Mom and I were remembering you and she said she always took care of you as a baby in fact, you used to call her mama. Rest in peace up in heaven!

Fernando was a gentle soul and kind, humble man. He started as a tenant but quickly became part of the family. He rode his bike everywhere and loved to be out and about. The neighbors and I speak fondly of him as we reminisce about they way he rode his bike like a kid - it brought him so much joy. We miss him and may he rest in peace.

Fernando,
It makes me sad to know you are not with us anymore but I thank God for those times you were there for us growing up. I love how you would greet me “Hey Girl!” because Margie has so many daughters! Thank you for showing me Charles Bronson movies. When I look at them today, I always remember you. Love you Uncle!

I’m trying not to get emotional as I’m saying this but it hurts seeing my Uncle Fernando leaving us so soon. You and my other Uncles were there for me during my teenage years but it was you who would always make me laugh. Some great memories during that era. You always made sure others would smile right along with you. Our best moments was when we played dominoes. You, Alfred, Grandpa, and myself. I treasure those moments because it was family, at our best. I will miss you Fernando, but your spirit will always be with me. Rest In Peace.

My grandma (Juanita) would have him over just about every other week and he would color and play with my son Gary. He always said my name like Cherry instead of Sherrie I pray he is with his family up there and having the best time❤

Look at that good-looking guy, he could've been a model! :) I had to share this picture of my Dad because it's one of my favorites but please share your own favorite picture of him too and/or your favorite memory of him. Over the last couple of weeks since he passed, so many people have shared with me their memories of him and the time they spent with him and it's been touching to hear how special he was to so many people! Thank you for those good memories of my Dad...he left us too soon and will be greatly missed!

Dad, this picture says it all...you and I always had a special bond and nothing could ever change that. No matter how long we went without seeing each other, I knew you loved me but I'm grateful that we got the chance to reconnect years back so you could meet and get to know my family and they could get to know the fun, loving guy me and everyone else loved! I love you and miss you very much! (Something tells me, right now, you're smiling at me, raising an Icehouse beer and telling me you love me too...lol!) RIP, Dad.......Love, Melanie

Fernando Medina is my Uncle who I & many loved very much. He always had an infectious laugh where his shoulders would move up & down that made everyone laugh with him even if you didn’t know what the joke was or what he was laughing about. I’ll always cherish the countless outings we spent together & domino games we played together. Fernando & My Brother Leo (Chach) resembled each other a lot & now I’ve lost them both. Our Family may never be the same but we will have their memories. I am going to miss them both very much, Rest In Heaven Fernando & Chach
