While we moved 1200 miles away Felicia was always in our hearts. We visited once a year and stopped telling people we would be in town as it was too hectic but we always called Felicia and met her for breakfast or lunch. We are saddened by her passing but proud to have known her. We admired her strength, courage and determination and loved to hear her laugh. We will always miss her and will cherish our wonderful memories of her. To Alana and Dana, know that you meant the world to your mom and she loved you with all her heart.

My neighbor and friend from kindergarten through high school. I always thought there was time for a reunion. I'm sorry I was wrong. Rest in peace.

To Felicia's children:
Your mom and I went to school together so we met as children. I enjoyed our infrequent visits during my trips to the Chicago area. You need to know that although your mom's body let her down, her friends never did. This not an easy time for you right now. I hope that you will find some peace, in your own ways, as you grow.

Felicia is always the one to smile, to laugh, and to always ask how everything is going. She never wanted to recognize her pain because she was going to beat this beast. Now she is pain free and looking down upon us all. She will guide her girls to wonderful lives and be their for her family whenever the need arises. We will miss you Felicia.

This morning another old friend emailed me with news of Felicia's passing. We had all worked together at STS and Advantis. Felicia was one of the kindest people to me and always went out of the way to help. She was a good person. Shalom.
