Dear Ones, What can I say to express what Ezell meant to my family? He was a grandfather to my children when they lost their blood grandfathers. Even though we are Caucasian, Ezell introduced himself to Mary's college friends as her grandfather. That meant so much to her. In his quiet, caring demeanor he always made you feel like he was glad to be in your company. We will truly miss this gentle,quietly-humorous gentleman. He was a role model to all of what a true gentleman acts like. I(we) loved Ezell . Thank you for sharing him with us. Love, Marsha,Jim and family P.S. Jim will truly miss Ezell's bread pudding

Edna,
I am praying for you and for your family.
Whenever I pass the place on Church Street in Evanston where Ezell had his restaurant,I always think about how you helped him to make his dream come true.
