Evelyn Wilk Obituary
Evelyn Wilk, 72 years old, died peacefully on July 27, 2022, in Hillside. Evi was born August 26, 1950, in Chicago, daughter of John and Florence (Malinowski) Wilk. Evi dedicated her life to loving, supporting, and caring for her entire family. She was a beloved and dearly missed mother, aunt, oldest daughter, and friend. She is survived by her daughter Jennifer (Wilk) LeBlanc and husband Adam LeBlanc; her younger brother Joseph Stanley Wilk and wife Rosemarie Wilk; and her middle sister Theresa (Wilk) Wendt. She was Aunt to Sara Marie Wilk and Julie Grace Wilk, and Tracy Wendt Lemaster. She was predeceased by her mother and father, Amelia Florence Wilk and John Stanley Wilk; along with two siblings, Jessica Wilk and John Peter Wilk; and Theresa's husband Robert Wendt. A memorial service for Evi will be held Saturday, August 6, 2022 from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Malec & Sons Funeral Home, 6000 North Milwaukee Ave, Chicago, IL 60646. The passing of time still does not make it any easier accepting your loss and your not being here to share all of our daily life with.
I remember that whenever you would get a little testie as you were always on the spicy side I would remind you that I am your Elder that I was 10 days older than you and it would always make us laugh
I remember all the times Florence (Mom) who adopted me into her life and yourself the great dinners we had at the Persian Restaurant on Kedzie . We devoured the Rice every time with the Kabobs such special treat . We would always discuss it days before we got there.
We were the 3 Musketeers as Florence would call us and sit for hours on the front porch just watching the sky and stars .
I miss all of that and both of you .
Until we see each other again .

Now Florence And Evi can be together again.
