Evelyn Coggin Obituary
Surviving are her sister-in-law, Eunice M. Walters; and six nieces and nephews and their families.
She ministered to others all of her life, early years feeding the hungry anonymously, working the telegraph for Western Union, retiring as an LPN nurse and, throughout her life, teaching the Bible.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at Ridout's Southside Chapel, with burial in Elmwood Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 tonight at the funeral home. Johns-Ridout's Funeral Parlors Southside Chapel directing.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to MeadowBrook Baptist Church in Rainbow City. Her Christian family looks forward to seeing her again. Matthew 28:19-20.
