Eunice Garrison Obituary

Garrison, Eunice A. (nee Bolz) Age 86. A native of Decatur, IL, and longtime Flossmoor resident. Graduate of Milliken University. Retired from Rich Twp High School District where she taught Mathematics. Devoted wife for 51 years of the late Ray H. Garrison, whom she met while working at Concordia Seminary in St. Louis, MO; loving daughter of the late Esther (nee Hendrian) and Henry Bolz; dear sister of the late Harriet (late William) Olsen and the late Brigadier General Henry H. (late Patricia) Bolz, Jr.; beloved aunt of eight nieces and nephews and cherished "Aunt Noonie" of numerous great- and great-great-nieces and nephews. An elegant woman of many talents, Eunice was a master quilter who taught classes, created patterns, wrote many magazine articles and authored the book "Lines, Points, and Patterns". Resting at Panozzo Bros. Funeral Home, 530 W. 14th St. (U.S. Rt. 30, 3 blocks east of Western Ave.), Chicago Heights on Monday afternoon, May 6th, from 4:00 PM until time of funeral services at 5:30 PM. Graveside burial services will be held on Tuesday, May 7th, 2:00 PM at Crescent Hill Cemetery, Old Glasgow Rd., Route 31E, Scottsville, KY.
