Morris, Eugene N. age 82, of Oak Brook, IL, formerly of River Forest, beloved father of Bette (nee Madigan), loving father of Patrick Joseph, Terry (Dina) and Jo Anne (Michael) Androwich, proud grandfather of Michelle, Patrick, Michael, Joseph Morris, Jack, Charles, Matthew and Joseph Androwich, dear brother of Norma Kanehann. Visitation will be at Conboy-Westchester Funeral Home, 10501 W. Cermak Rd., Westchester, IL, (2 blks. West of Mannheim Rd.), on Wednesday, from 3 p.m. to 9 p.m. On Thursday, Family and friends will meet at St. Vincent Ferrer Church, River Forest for funeral Mass at 10 a.m. Interment Mt. Carmel Cemetery. Memorials would be appreciated to Fenwick High School attn: Alumni Office, 505 W. Washington Blvd., Oak Park, IL, 60302. Member of Chicago Board Trade, Kansas City Board of Trade, Minneapolis Board of Trade, member of Butterfield Country Club since 1952. Freeport Country Club and the Royal Palm Country Club. Dear Morris Family,
I was saddened to hear that Gene had passed away. The news brought back some fond memories of a few funny stories my dad shared with me about his younger days on the board with Gene. Of course I was also reminded of our younger hockey days too. Over the last 5 years or so, I remeber running into Gene while walking to the parking lot or just around the area surrounding the CBT. He always gave me a hefty "Hello Weston" I'll miss seeing him. On behalf of The Weston Family, please accept our condolences on your loss. Best Regards to all and may Gene rest in peace.
