We both worked with Gene at the Westin - Nick worked for and with him (and Gene taught him well, thank you dear friend!) and Kate - well, she just talked to him all the time. We are deeply saddened to learn of his passing. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family and close friends, and everyone who had the privilege of knowing him. Please accept my deepest sympathy to the whole family for your loss. I only had the privilege of knowing “Uncle” Gene for the past couple of years, but he was the best bean bag partner I ever had. The McGuire parties just won’t be the same without him. My thoughts and prayers are with you.

I met Gene in the early 60', he had a great way about him, you could always depend on Gene to liven up the crowd. Although I haven't seen Gene in many years, I still thought about him and Anne. Gene, Anne and family will be in my prayers.
