The extremely early morning phone calls, the perfect pronounciation of my whole name with the strongest vocals God has ever blessed man with and I quote, "Jacquelyn Antoinette Matthews how are you this morning? This is your Uncle Eugene". He was one of the few people in my life that could get away that. I will always love and cherish every moment I spent with you uncle.

Mr. Gene Matthews, you will be missed greatly. You had a great sense of humor and was full of witty remarks as the DJs played your favorite songs. You were a class act. Favorite saying "Right now, I am not liking you very much." Rest in peace. Your friend, Lady DJ.
