Byrd, Eugene 91, of Bloomington, IN, formerly of Chicago; beloved husband of the late Charlotte (nee Klein), and Fanny Joffe Byrd, devoted father of Richard and Donald (Susan) and the late David Byrd; stepfather of Mitchell (Vicki) Joffe and Judith (Stephen) Masur; cherished grandfather of John, Alan, Charlotte, Michael, Torrey, and Alec Byrd, Andrew and Craig (Stacy) Masur, Jon and Matthew (Danielle) Joffe; dear brother of the late Barrie Byrd and Doris Sutorius. Services Sunday, 12 Noon Niles Township Jewish Congregation--Ezra Habonim, 4500 W. Dempster St., Skokie. Interment Shalom Memorial Park.
