Ethel Ritchie Obituary

Ethel B. Ritchie was born October 30, 1917 to William and Bolti Barnes in Mannsville, OK and departed this life on May 26, 2008 at the age of 90 years. She was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend to all. She will be greatly missed by all her family and friends. Ethel worked on the home front in WWII as a Rosie Riveter for Douglas Aircraft. She was a member of the Rebecca's and also the order of the Eastern Star. Ethel loved music and played the organ. Among the other things, she loved doing were oil painting, ceramics, crocheting and knitting. She is survived by her husband: Sherman son: Orvil Ritchie daughters: Jo Polley, Gail Bradley sister: Gladys Marie Middleton grandchildren: Carol Ann Kelly, Sherman Wells, Jacqueline Bradley, David Boyd Wright, Jana Scott, Eric Ritchie, Felicia Ritchie, Alicia Ritchie numerous great and great-great-grandchildren. Funeral service will be held at 10:00 AM, Thursday, May 29, 2008, at Sunny Lane Chapel with burial at Sunny Lane Cemetery.
