Ravin, Esther (nee Sol), 92, beloved wife of the late Herbert Ravin, loving mother of Allan Ravin and the late Phyllis Ravin, and dear sister of Thelma (the late Dr. Irwin) Rubenstein. Graveside services Wednesday, 10:30 a.m., at Westlawn Cemetery (Carnation Section), 7801 W. Montrose, Norridge. Esther Ravin requested that upon her death donations should be to the American Cancer Society, 820 Davis St., Suite 400, Evanston, IL 60201 (www.cancer.org) in the memory of Phyllis Ravin and Sharon Masters. Dear Thelma and family - My deepest sympathy on the passing of Esther. She always had a smile and kind word for everyone when we were at Barth-Wind. She and Herb made a great couple and now they are together again. Again my condolences.
