Belated sympathy to the Carlton family from an old friend that used to babysit Michael and Theresa. I last spoke with Esther on the phone when her mother died. I am so sorry for your loss which I discovered in obituaries online on Mercy Sunday, 2014. I liked your mother very much and your whole family. My deepest sympathies especially to Diego, Michael, Theresa, Stephen, and Mary Elizabeth whom I never met, but heard about from her grandma. Your mother was an inspiration of love and courage to me always.

My heart goes out to all of you. Esther was my classmate at St.Michael's since 6th grade until we graduated from high school. We would write notes during class to keep our class fun & interesting. She could explain the math to me better than our teacher. I am so happy I got to see & sit with her at the Alumni luncheon.Know love is forever. Lots of love & blessings, Laura Macaltao Cruz

My friend and classmate Ester was eloquent and had a quiet strong spirit. Her face would light up when she smiled. She cared deeply for her family and always remembered her friends.
Her work once brought her to Kansas City, Missouri. I live across the river in Kansas City, Kansas. She telephoned me to let me know she would be in town. We visited, talked, and met for dinner with my husband and where I introduce her to a lot of my family. Everyone had a great time.
At St. Michael Central alumni dinner, where we would renew our friendship annually, there were always memories about the good old school days, conversations about current happenings and family updates. When the dinner was over we would have our pictures taken and talk about meeting up again next year. I am thankful to our classmate Nancy for taking all those pictures, for now they are treasures of our times with Ester.
I will meet Ester in heaven. And we shall have eternal joy with our heavenly Father and all of the faithful in Him.
Heartfelt condolences, prayers, love and blessings to all her family!
