Roth, Ernest Morgan 81, longtime resident of Kenilworth. Beloved husband of Juliet Van Pelt Roth, loving father of Ernest S. (Mary), Jennifer H. and James M. (Kathryn) Roth, proud grandfather of Ernest J., Matthew C., Hannah J. and Charles S. Roth, dear brother of Marilyn Putnam, Millicent Melhado and the late Muriel Napier, fond uncle of many nieces and nephews. Visitation Tuesday, November 11, 4 to 8 p.m., at Wm. H. Scott Funeral Home, 1100 Greenleaf Ave., Wilmette. Funeral Wednesday, November 12, 11 a.m., at the Church of the Holy Comforter, 222 Kenilworth Ave., Kenilworth. Interment private. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to La Rabida Children's Hospital, Attention Development, East 65th Street at Lake Michigan, Chicago, IL 60649. Funeral Inquiries: 847-251-8200.
